Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi Formal is just fine but we just want you to be comfortable! This is a indoor/outdoor venue and the ceremony itself (weather permitting) will be taking place outside. keep in mind the time of year and bring something warm just in case.

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is limited parking directly in front of the hall. You are welcome to park along the street on either side down the road if possible please park at an angled fashion along the road to utilize space. There will be an overflow of parking a very short walk from the Hall at the Freeland Park.

what time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3PM so please try to arrive no later than 2:45 so we can get everyone seated and the party started!

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! There will be a bit of a break after the ceremony where you can grab a drink before we head into dinner. We have went with an Italian themed menu that will have multiple pasta dishes including one vegetarian option, Ceaser salad, Garden salad with dressing bar, and of course bread.

Ferries

Answer

For those unfamilar with the ferry, the ride itself is about 15 minutes and the boats are every half hour. I have included the ferry schedule and ferry camera links on the travel page for easy access to plan your trip over. With worker shortages sometimes the ferries can be a bit unreliable. Make sure to try and check out the alerts and schedules to avoid any unexpected changes when headed to the island.
