*Enters Time Machine* 2015... the year of "IS IT BLACK AND BLUE OR WHITE AND GOLD?" (if you know you know). In addition to that worldwide controversy, 2015 is also the year that Jake and Carly first met. Let's take it back to February 6th, 2015. Carly was living in Apartment 2 at 56 Noble Street in Kutztown PA. Jacob, a freshman, was living in Bonner Hall. It was a Friday, and as a college student that meant PARTY (I mean study). So that's exactly what they did. Carly and her roommates (Elisa, Chloe and Adrianna A.K.A beautiful bridesmaids) decided to have some people over. Upstairs, lived a group of guys. One of which is the best man, Justin. The invite was extended to our extended roommates. And the rest is history... Just Kidding. There's a lot more to the story but we only have 2,000 characters. As the night goes on, Carly and Jake hit it off. Most people call it "love at first sight" but in college it is referred to as "beer goggles." Can you feel the romance? They talked all night. They talked about things people don't usually talk about on the first night they meet. Ironically, Jake posted a picture of the two new acquaintances on Instagram captioning it "future wifey." Carly was wearing a one shoulder top with blue and navy strips. Jake, a black polo t-shirt. They danced, and talked, and talked and talked. As the weeks went by a friendship grew, and the two continued to spend time together. Which leads us to their first date at TGI Fridays. Jake probably... and by probably I mean definitely ordered ribs. Carly probably ordered something Jake thought was gross (the answer is Salmon.) Carly met Jakes family, it was crab leg night. Shortly after, Jake came to the Poconos and met Carly's family. On April 12th, 2015 (familiar date right) Carly and Jake made their way down the rabbit hole to a place known as Alice where they overlooked the Delaware Water Gap. The place where Jake officially asked Carly to be his Girlfriend. OK seriously this time..... the rest is history.
