Some wedding activities will take place indoors and some will take place outdoors--so please plan accordingly. Our wedding ceremony will take place outdoors, and we will also have dinner outdoors under a covered patio. Inside the lodge, you will be able to party it up on the dance floor. You'll also want to head inside the lodge for drinks. If the dance floor isn't for you, there will be some outdoor activities (e.g., yard games, volleyball, canoes, fire pit) taking place, too.
Having postponed our wedding a year due to COVID-19, we are so grateful to finally be celebrating in person this year. To help keep everyone healthy, safe and at ease, we will closely follow state and local policies and we encourage our guests to practice the following safety measures: 1) If you are able to get vaccinated, please do so. We are hoping that all or almost all of our wedding guests are vaccinated by the time of our wedding. 2) If you are not feeling well in the days leading up to our wedding, please stay home--even if you already said you were coming. 3) Bring a mask with you and be prepared to wear your mask when you are inside the lodge or around others outside of your household who are not fully vaccinated. 4) Wash your hands often and take advantage of the many hand sanitizers that will be available throughout our venue.
No, there is no dress code for our wedding. Feel free to wear whatever you see fit. All we ask is that you keep in mind that many of our wedding festivities will take place outdoors in the middle of summer. Also, if you plan to participate in some of the outdoor activities (e.g., swimming, yard games, volleyball), please do not hesitate to bring a comfortable change of clothes for after dinner.
While there are some cabins and camp sites available at Camp Woodbury, we have reserved these for ourselves, our wedding party, and our immediate family members. If we haven't talked to you about staying at the camp with us, please consider checking out the nearby hotels that we have reserved rooms at. You can find information for these hotels under the 'Travel' link on our wedding website.
Yes, there is parking available at Camp Woodbury. The driveway leading into the camp is quite long and you will find an open area half way up the driveway on the right hand side where you can park. The owners of our venue will bring you the rest of the way up the driveway in golf carts.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
While we love your kids very much, we are restricted on how many guests we can have join us at our venue. Therefore, we ask that only those who are listed on your invitation join us in our day.
There will not be transportation to and from the hotels to the venue. The three hotels that we have rooms reserved at are all within a 10 minute drive of our venue. Uber and Lyft are both available in the area. Please plan accordingly.
Yes! We picked our venue because of all the fun things it offers. So, feel free to bring a swimsuit to go in the lake after dinner. Towels are not provided by the venue though, so bring a towel with you.
