FAQs

The Wedding Website of Brooke Butler and Jacob Steward
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 5/1/2026

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding will begin at 6:00PM in the main building. There is plenty of parking and seating - so no need to come super early. The reception will follow down in the outdoor covered area.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We really appreciate your wanting to buy us a gift, however, at this point in life we are trying hard to save up to buy our first home and would really appreciate it if you gifted us money towards that goal.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are getting all dressed up because we want to look cute for our wedding pics, but you definitely don't have to! This is an evening wedding, but it does not call for formal attire at all. The parking lot is a gravel parking lot and the walk to the venue from the parking lot is also gravel - choose your shoes wisely!

Question

Will there be Alcohol?

Answer

We will be serving Beer and Wine in limited amounts. It's a long drive home for most people and we want everyone to have a good time and be safe to drive home.

Question

What's the Plan for the evening?

Answer

Glad you asked!! We will get married in the main building at 6:00, then scoot on down to Toad Hall for a fun filled reception. The Landing Zone will be open from 7:00pm - 8:00pm for guests to visit and touch some of the beautiful birds. The Band will start playing at 7:00pm and will play us through the evening. We are going to plan on scooting out for our honeymoon around 10pm.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love you and we love your kiddo's! We will have a limited amount of alcohol at the reception and a live band, if your kiddo's will enjoy that - they are welcome.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we don't have extra seating for anyone who isn't on the invitation.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample, well lit, parking at the bird park. There will also be park staff available to offer golf cart rides from parking lot to wedding and reception site. Please note there is only one golf cart. Also, the parking lot is gravel - choose your shoes wisely!

Question

Can we see the whole park during the event?

Answer

No, unfortunately, the whole park is not open for everyone to walk around and view it during the time we have it booked. Only the event space will be available to guests. If you would like to come early and pay entry into the park - you are welcome to do so. The park closes at 5pm and all wedding guests will be allowed free entry to the event space only, after that time.

Question

Can we feed the birds?

Answer

There is an hour allotted for guests to visit The Landing Zone. This is an enclosed area with birds in it. Specialized bird food will be provided for you upon entering the landing zone. Sylvan Heights Bird Park requests that no outside bird seed or other food be brought in to feed the birds.
