FAQs

Question

What protective measures will be in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer

We encourage each guest to do what makes them feel most comfortable, including wearing masks and gloves for a portion (or the entirety) of the evening! We will be encouraging social distancing in our seating arrangements, and are lucky to have a very spacious venue where distance between guests will be possible. There are also large outdoor areas at the reception venue where people can mingle if that is where they feel most comfortable. In addition, we plan to have servers plate all food and pour all drinks, and we will have plenty of hand sanitizer to go around!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than one month prior to the wedding!

Question

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Answer

Please RSVP online, using the url included in your wedding invitation!

Question

Have you reserved a hotel block?

Answer

A hotel block has not been reserved, since they charge extra for this service! However, we are staying in the Hilton Homewood Suites at 7312 NW Polo Drive, where there is complimentary breakfast! Please come join us for breakfast the morning after the wedding!

Question

Will the reception be outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be held in the barn, which is air conditioned! However, yard games will be available outside, and the view is unbelievable!

Question

Are shorts allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, but only khaki or cargo shorts! We would prefer no jean or athletics shorts.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the wedding! This will give you ample time to find Holy Trinity Church in Weston, MO, and allow time for parking!

Question

Where is the ceremony being held?

Answer

The ceremony is at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Weston, MO, and begins at 4:00 pm!

Question

Where is the reception being held?

Answer

The reception is at The Weston Red Barn Farms "Timber Barn", and will immediately follow the ceremony! Once you arrive at the Farms, a parking attendant will direct you to the ample parking to the northwest of the barn!

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle to or from the hotel. You are responsible for driving and/or coordinating rides to the ceremony and reception.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

The wedding invitation will specify whether you are allowed a plus one. If your wedding invitation does not state "plus guest", no plus one is allowed.

Question

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Please do not take photos during our ceremony! However, you are more than welcome to take pictures during our wedding reception and post them on social media! #LetsGetKammerer'd

Question

Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?

Answer

Yes, you can contact Claire Kammerer at 816-383-1023! If she is unable to answer your question, or does not respond, you are also able to contact Juliana Kuhn at 913-272-4052 or Antonio DePastino at 816-390-3538! On the day of the wedding, please refrain from contacting the couple!

Question

Answer

The reception will end at 11:15 pm, and you must leave no later than 11:30 pm.

Question

Are there any colors you prefer I not wear?

Answer

If you are able, please avoid wearing white or red colors to our wedding!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

The only people invited to the wedding are those specifically listed on the invitation. Unfortunately, we are not inviting children since we currently know very few individuals with children.
