Aubyn first met Brianna in 2022 when they worked at the same pharmacy job together. They quickly became close through their common love for Jesus. They have had many great memories together and now get to have double dates with Brianna’s husband and Jacob. Brianna has been an amazing friend to Aubyn. She gives great Godly advice, is a great listener, joyful, encouraging, supportive, and never fails to make her laugh. They’re there for each other in all the ups and downs in life!
Daniel McNamara
Best Man
Daniel is the younger brother of Jacob. They spent their childhood mostly playing with action figures, playing hockey at the Balsam rink, and having epic ladder matches in the back yard. They now spend most of their time together just talking about life and arguing about sports. Danny was the clear choice to be Jacob’s best man because he has always been and still is the best brother a guy could ask for.
Emma Sventek

Emma and Aubyn have known each other their whole lives. They like to say that they are sisters rather than friends. They spent so much time together as kids that when they were apart, people would ask where the other one was! Their friendship continues to grow with them and they have had countless amazing and funny memories together. Emma never fails to make Aubyn laugh, has the biggest heart, gives great advice, and is a woman who fears the Lord!
Aaron Bouchie

Aaron and Jacob became friends in middle school. They have travelled to and watched many hockey, football and baseball games together. Since Aaron has moved out of state, they don't see as many games together anymore but always try to make time for a phone call to talk about sports or religion or anything else.
Tirzah Sleen

Tirzah and Aubyn have been friends since they were little girls. They were both homeschooled and since their parents both worked at church, they spent many days together, which included lots of playing stuffed animals and making silly videos. Their friendship has grown throughout the years and they now love having coffee dates and talking about life. Tirzah has been a very supportive, kind, honest, and Jesus lovin’ friend of Aubyn’s!
Shane McCotter

Shane is the oldest brother of Aubyn. Shane likes snowmobiling and taking care of his two cows. Jacob and Aubyn enjoy spending time with Shane and his family. Their favorite ways to spend time with them is through game nights and family dinners. When Jacob first started coming to Bayside Baptist Church, Shane was always bugging Aubyn about the new guy at church and when she would start liking him.
Falyn McCotter

Falyn and Aubyn go way back… as in they’re siblings :P They didn’t always get along growing up but have learned to not just love each other but to actually enjoy spending time with one another throughout the years. Falyn enjoys showing Aubyn the city life and all the yummy restaurants it has to offer! Falyn has always inspired Aubyn to be bold, passionate, creative, and dedicated.
Philip McCotter

Philip is Aubyn's older brother. He and his family now live in Brazil where they will be church planting as long term missionaries. Jacob and Aubyn enjoyed nights playing cribbage and talking with Philip and his wife Jenny while they still lived in Superior. Fun fact, Philip's son Ezra was the first of the McCotters to say hi to Jacob when he showed Jacob his toy truck during church
Amanda Paulson

Amanda and Aubyn have been best friends since they can remember. Throughout the years they’ve had many sleepovers, laughs, dinner dates, and deep convos together. No matter how little or often they see each other, they always pick up where they left off and have a meaningful time together. Amanda has always been there to listen, talk, help out, encourage, and is one of the most generous people Aubyn knows.
Ja'lon Sventek

Ja'lon and Jacob met at church and became friends through attending the same Bible study. Ja'lon and Aubyn have been friends for almost 10 years, meeting at a Bible camp. Ja'lon fancies himself quite the wingman as he often tries to take credit for setting up Jacob and Aubyn. Ja'lon and Jacob enjoy discussing theology, playing pickleball and attempting to catch fish ice fishing.
Chloe Larson

Chloe and Aubyn became friends in 2020 and quickly became close friends. They have had many adventures since then. From vacations, roadtrips across the country, and finding fun and unique things to do together, they always enjoy each other’s company. Chloe is so genuine, thoughtful, goes out of her way for her loved ones, and is always down for anything!

Levi and Jacob became friends through hockey. They spent their high school days at the rink and hanging out in the Walmart parking lot, where they learned life lessons like always double-checking how many McNuggets are in the box. Levi is another one of Jacob’s long-distance friends, but when they get together, they’re always able to pick up right where they left off.
Carissa Irish

Carissa and Aubyn became friends at church back in middle school. They spent many weekends having sleepovers together and being goofy teenage girls. Carissa doesn’t live nearby anymore but they still talk everyday and try to make trips to see each other when they can. Carissa is a loyal and honest friend and has been there for Aubyn even though they rarely get to see each other!
Zak Karnes

Zak and Jacob also first became friends through hockey. Zak has always encouraged Jacob in his faith, jiu jitsu and goals in life. Zak enjoys hunting, running his multiple businesses and jiu jitsu. Jacob and Aubyn now get to enjoy hanging out with Zak and his fiancé Sabrina.
Zaya McCotter
Flower Girl
Zaya is Aubyn’s niece. She’s 8 years old, does ballet, and loves to draw and play piano! Aubyn loves getting to spend time with Zaya. Since Aubyn is the youngest, it’s the closest thing she gets to having a younger sister!
Harper McNamara

Harper is Jacob's niece. She is four and likes dinosaurs, unicorns and rocks. When Jacob and Aubyn visits, she is always excited to play dinosaurs and be goofy.
