What should I wear?

Answer

This is a semi-formal event. Men are requested to wear black suits, white dress shirts, and a soft green–tone tie. Women are requested to wear a green tone (sage, eucalyptus, olive, etc.) full length dress or dressy jumpsuit with flowy silhouettes. Because our guest list is intentionally small, every person present plays a meaningful role in the photos and memories we will cherish for a lifetime. We are so grateful to celebrate this moment with you and appreciate your help in preserving the intimate, timeless feel of our day. If you are not sure about your outfit before committing to it, please ask!

Where can I find a dress?

Answer

Birdy Grey has a ton of options (sea glass, thyme, sage, eucalyptus, olive, emerald, martini). Azazie also has some good options (olive, eucalyptus, light green, emerald, pistachio, sage). JJ’s House is another online retailer but your local bridal or event store may have great options too!

Will there be a bar?

Answer

The vendors will not be providing alcoholic beverages, but guests are allowed to bring beer, seltzers, or wine. High-proof liquors are explicitly prohibited by the venue.

Will there be food served at the venue?

Answer

Yes. After the ceremony, there will be a grazing table, followed by a seated dinner, and capped off with dessert.

Where can I stay in town?

Answer

There is a dedicated room block available at the Hampton Inn Black Mountain. Guests utilizing the room block will receive 12% off their nightly rate. It is not required that you stay at this hotel, and you are welcome to find other arrangements if you prefer. The link to the room block can be found on the Travel page.

What is the best way to travel in?

Answer

The closest airport is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). The airport is about an hour drive to the wedding venue, and about a 40-minute drive to the recommended hotel (Hampton Inn Black Mountain). Driving in is also an option.
