We technically met at the Moderne Apartments in downtown Milwaukee when we were hanging out with mutual friends before we went out. We did not officially start talking until we went to The Harp. We danced and talked all night and exchanged numbers. The next day we set up our first date and the rest is history!

We went to Cafe Benelux for dinner and went mini golfing after (pretty sure Ashley won). We had so much in common and realized right away this was something special.

Jacob told Ashley we were touring a wedding venue by the art museum before we were supposed to meet for lunch with our parents. We got there early and were walking around deciding where it would be cool to take pictures. When we were in front of the art museum Jacob got down on one knee and proposed! We then met up for lunch with our families at explorium brewpub in the third ward. After lunch Jacob suggested we go to broken bat brewery for a few drinks. As to Ashley’s surprise, Jacob planned a celebration party with some other friends and family!

We have been to Fort Lauderdale a few times, Boston, Seattle, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Lake Tahoe. Our next adventure will be our Honeymoon to Riviera Maya in November!
