Cincinnati is about an hour and a half from Louisville, and a quick drive. They have plenty of flight options and rental cars available.

Indianapolis airport is about 2 hours drive from Louisville. If you are planning to rent a car, you can fly to and from the Indy airport if there are better flights for you

This is a hotel for anyone looking for a five star experience. They do not offer blocks but did have a promo code. It is a much more expensive option, at $360+/night, for a boutique experience near downtown.
