Lauren was my Co-leader for our 2020-2021 Chi Alpha Small Group. We became best friends by pouring into our small group-girls and encouraging each other all school year. Lauren is the gentle yet fun spirit that I always needed! She is always there for me and is so inspiring to me.

Lucy and I first met at church camp as kids, but we got to reconnect our friendship when Lucy came to UNI this last year. Lucy and I just understand each other and can have conversations about anything--and I mean anything! She has become one of my closest friends over the last school year.

Olivia and I are not only besties, but also roommates, co-leaders, and family service majors! Our weekly Tea Cellar dates are always a highlight of my week. She is the most encouraging, caring, and thoughtful person you will ever meet!

Avery and I had the opportunity to help pioneer Sent Youth at our church! Leading the spunky teens we love so much grew such a sweet friendship between us. She is the best hype woman and has always been an uplifting presence in my life. She also took Jacob and I's engagement pictures--she is SO TALENTED!

Faith is Jacob's younger sister, and is a light to everyone around her! I have gotten to love her spunk and goofiness. I am so thankful for the friendship we are growing, and Jacob is also excited that she will be involved in our special day!

Aaron and I co-led a small group this last year in Chi Alpha. Through that time we became best friends and have lived together since May of this year. He is someone who I deeply cherish and has played a big role in my life being where it is at today.

John is someone who I am the craziest around by far! We both have a lot of energy and he is the kind of person I know I can be myself around. He has provided spiritual guidance and has been someone to lean on and played a big part in my decision to propose in May.

Derek has been one of my best friends since 2018 and has been with me through it all. I was in his small group my first year and then led together with him my second. He has helped me through so much and has always been a great person to lean on. I know that I would not be where I am today without all his advice and love.

Jon and I have been close friends for several years now and connect over our love for both Jesus and NBA basketball. He has been someone who has never failed to show me that his love was always available. He has been a person who always can make me laugh and feel better no matter what is happening. He is someone who loves other so well and is a great friend to so many others.

Caleb is my brother and someone I shared a room with for all of my time living at home. We spent many nights up late laughing about dumb stuff and just having fun together. He is someone who I love so deeply and who I am thankful to have as a brother. He has such a big heart and is very kind to those around him.

Noah and I led Sent Youth together this last year and our friendship really developed through that. He has taught me so much about loving others well and how to be there for others. He cares deeply and is always present no matter what.
