Maid of Honor
Josie is Alexia's younger sister. With the exception of middle school, they've ALWAYS been close and supportive of each other. Many who know both siblings would say that they are complete opposites (which is 100% true). But no one can deny that these two siblings get each other deeply. Josie has always encouraged Alexia to be herself and is one of the most important people in Alexia's life.
Best Woman
Sophia is Jacob's older sister who has cared and looked out for him since he was small. Except for that one time she shot him with an arrow. Post college their yearly tradition was seeing the Broadway series at PPAC sharing their passion for musical theater. Even with Jacob living in Philly, they find time to watch shows together and chat every week. Sophia played a pivotal role in Alexia and Jacob's meeting as she suggested that Jacob go to Prague! Jacob knows there is no better person to be standing beside him as he embarks on this new chapter in his life; knowing his big sister will always be there to support him.
Bridesperson
Mao is one of Alexia's closest friends. One might say it was destiny - they met at the local college airport by chance as Alexia was picking up her roommate from China. Shortly after landing they learned that they were going to be neighbors in the 1st year dorm. Through the ups and downs of college Mao and Alexia experience major life events that made them closer. If you ask Mao, they are the older "twin" of Alexia. If you ask Alexia, her first reaction is to remind everyone that she is technically older even if she doesn't seem like it. Regardless of age, their friendship has grown so much over the years and it's only natural that they would be a part of this big next step of Alexia's life.
Groomswoman
When Jacob first moved into Garrahy 470, Alex was one of the first to ensure he was welcomed within the circles of the Garrahy Gang, ensuring that Jacob had a home away from home. A favorite recent memory was when they read poetry and shouted affirmations for finding love into the void on a mountain top; not longer after which time Jacob reconnected with Alexia. Clear evidence of the power of their friendship. Whether it be at a movie night, playing board games, Alex and Jacob can always be found laughing and just being happy to share time with each other.
Bridesman
Henry Brewster. The man, the myth, the legend. He is Alexia's younger brother and close friend of Jacob. So close in fact, that they go on dates without her. He lives 15 mins away but she is only allowed to visit on weekends and must call in advance. When asked what he thinks of his oldest sister, he said "she's okay".
Groomsman
Brian has been one of Jacob's closest friends since the days in Garrahy 407. Their tales are legendary from epic nerf battles, late night dance parties, movie nights, almost started a band, and even planning out an entire TV show about a man of mystery doing stand up poetry but who is also an ancient Egyptian god locked in eternal battle with their mortal enemy. Each battle is an anime rap battle of course. If there are any silly shenanigans to be had, Brian and Jacob will be there to have them. They have yet to finally sit down and see Paddington 2.
Officiant
The first time Alexia met Zac was in college during band practice. He sat in front of her for 3 years and the only words exchanged were as followed: Zac - "Hi, I'm Zac." Alexia - "I know." Zac and Alexia became close after graduation and getting married to Mao. It was only then they realized that they should have been friends in college. Today, Zac is one of Alexia's closest friends. Since Jacob moved to Philadelphia, Zac has also become a really good friend of his and they can be found playing D&D together with Henry.
