This is a semi-formal event. Please do not show up in jeans, tee shirts, or casual every day clothing. Everyone loves an excuse to dress up, so we expect our guests to have that same mentality. Some outfit ideas are below: Men: Suits, shirt and tie, polo and khaki shorts Women: Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, rompers, nice blouse and pants/skirt Please also keep in mind that in the past years, the middle of September has had a tendency to be pretty warm, so please dress comfortably. We do not need anyone passing out from being overheated. If you have any questions about the colors and what to match with, please contact Alex at 765-490-6536
Yes- all beer, wine, sodas, and house brand liquor will be available for people to drink. The bar is also instructed to card everyone who will be buying an alcoholic beverage, so please remember your ID
August 19, 2020! We would love for our guests to let us know ahead of time if they are planning on attending. Our venue also needs a set head count a few weeks prior to help ensure they have the correct amount of food, chairs, etc
The venue was closed during the peak of the pandemic. Since reopening in June, they have required everyone to wear masks while entering, hand sanitizer stations everywhere, and keeping the place as sanitized as possible. However, the state of Indiana is set to reopen completely on July 4, so by September, we should not run into any problems. Jacob & Alex have been working closely with the venue to ensure our guests are safe and taken care of while also continuously planning for the big day we are expecting. Even in September, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask while attending our wedding, you are more than welcome to.
At least 20-30 minutes early would be the best bet. In order to ensure you get there on time (Indianapolis traffic can get pretty bad) but we also want everyone to get a good seat! Nothing is more embarrassing than walking in at the same time the bride is ;)
We would love for everybody who is invited to make it and be apart of our big day. However, if the drive is too far for you, we do have family located north in Lafayette who would be more than happy to accommodate and carpool down with you. Depending on which direction you will be coming from, we are willing to help! We do provide hotel recommendations as well (in the "Travel" tab) if it is too much for a day trip.
