We're getting married!

Let’s rewind to 2011 – Alessandra was 13 and Jacob was 14. There was excitement by the Wise Family on Kinglet Court in Laguna Niguel when a new family moved in across the street. The Palmer’s brought three more kids to play sardines in the street, have swim parties, carpool to school and even take ski trip with the families on the street. No doubt a spark was lit somewhere along those years between Alee and Jake. Alee came home from school one day and told her mom, “I think I have a crush on Jake.” But God had a plan. That plan led Jake after high school to enroll in the United States Coast Guard and live in various states, eventually residing in Colorado upon his discharge. Alee finished college and eventually moved to New York to pursue her career in marketing. Alee and Jake would see each other sporadically over the years, but it wasn't until Thanksgiving, 2022, when Alee and Jake returned home to celebrate the holiday with their families did they really reconnect. This particular time, Alee, Jake, and Alee's brother, Max, planned an evening in Newport Beach for all the now adult kids to catch up. The spark that was lit several years ago between Alee and Jake, now seemed to reignite, but no one else noticed. Then came Christmas, and again a big group of kids got together for a night of shits and giggles. Jake and Alee’s parents suspected Jake was crushing on someone, as he was acting suspicious, but little did they know it was Alee he was smitten by. Finally, it all became clear to everyone. That spark was now a flame. As soon as they caught feelings for each other, they were also catching flights to visit each other and a long distance relationship ensued (even if it meant Jake traveling to a city he disliked). It was one of those trips they were driving along the road in Colorado and Jake told Alee he was going to make her his wife. They say timing is everything. We give all the glory to God for his perfect plan and perfect timing. Alee and Jake look forward to celebrating their love with family and friends at their wedding on May 25th!
