Right along the Milwaukee River, this is a great spot to grab a margarita and a few tacos. We enjoy ordering a variety for the table while taking in the riverfront views.
A perfect stop while walking around the Historic Third Ward. Enjoy their popular brunch, try one of their famous Bloody Mary's, and afterwards, take some time to walk around and explore one of our favorite parts of the city.
One of our absolute favorites - we find ourselves here almost every time we're in Milwaukee! Whatever you do, order a pasta flight (and make sure to include the pesto pasta as one of your choices). Why choose one pasta when you can have several?
A Milwaukee staple and an easy stop for your morning coffee. Grab a cup and pastry before heading out to explore the city.
One of our favorite coffee spots! Our recommendations: an iced vanilla latte and an iced mocha. You really can't go wrong with either.
Come for the beer, stay for the cheese curds! Take a brewery tour, try a few local beers, and absolutely order the cheese curds - with extra ranch on the side. Trust us on that one.
You can't visit the home of Miller without learning a little about how it all started! Tour the historic brewery, learn about Milwaukee's brewing history, and enjoy a few samples along the way.
One of our favorite spots to start or end a night in the city. Located on the rooftop of the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel in the Historic Third Ward, it's the perfect place to grab a cocktail and take in the Milwaukee skyline.
If you're making a weekend out of your trip, the Brewers are playing at home Friday, July 23 through Sunday, July 25 against the Miami Marlins. Catch a game, grab a beer and some ballpark food, and experience a little Milwaukee baseball.
We LOVE the market and could easily spend hours here. Walk around, shop, eat, and have a drink along the way. Some of our favorites are St. Paul Fish Company for fresh seafood (we recommend the lobster roll and crab cakes), The Palapa Tiki Bar for a tropical drink, and C. Adams Bakery for something sweet.
Explore an impressive collection of art, beautiful lakefront views, and the museum's stunning architecture.
A little bonus happening during our wedding weekend! The Milwaukee Air & Water Show will be taking place Saturday, July 24 & Sunday, July 25, so head toward the lakefront to catch some of the action while you're in town.
