Abbie and Aftin spent their junior high and high school years swimming, working, and carpooling together. The two spent multiple hours every day with each other going to swim practice and right to work in the summers. During the school days, they would get up in the morning and drive to swim practice together, drive back to school, and drive back to swim practice right after school! They have spent a lot of time singing, laughing, and being great friends!

Steph and Aftin swam together at the University of Northern Iowa. They also lived together for their senior year. Aftin and Steph have been friends since college but also spent time together when Aftin and Jacob lived in Chicago.

Jacob met Blake while working for RSM in Chicago. They quickly became good friends throughout work and continue to keep in contact even though Jacob is back in Iowa!

Emma is the reason Jacob and Aftin got together! They met at a party she had for New Years! Emma is also a great friend of both the bride and the groom. She went to high school with the two of them and was one of Aftin's first friends when her family moved to Waverly!

Chris and Jacob have been friends for a long time! They grew up going to the same school and never lost their friendship. When Jacob moved out to Chicago, he was happy to hear that Chris would be going their too! They were able to see each other every now and then!

Jeremy was a co-worker of the bride when Jacob and Aftin lived in Chicago. During their time in Chicago, Jacob and Aftin went to shows of Jeremy's as he does comedy and writes. Jeremy has followed the couple through their time dating. Jeremy has been able to watch Jacob and Aftin grow as a couple. He is a special friend to the bride and groom and they could not imagine this day without him.
