We're getting married!

Jake and Abi’s story began at a birthday party on July 13, 2019, where Jake couldn’t help but notice Abi. Summoning his courage, he asked her to dance. After some hesitation, she agreed, and that moment marked the start of something special. They spent a few wonderful dates together, but life took them in different directions when Abi returned to Texas for college. Even apart, they always carried the feeling that their story wasn’t over. A year later, when Abi moved to Oregon, their paths crossed again. On December 12, 2020 Jake asked Abi to be his Girlfriend & they began dating, knowing this time it was meant to be.

Jake had been planning something special for months, telling Abi they were going to take "Anniversary/Christmas" photos. Abi got ready, excited for the shoot and thinking it was just another sweet moment to celebrate their time together. But as they started the session, a small part of her heart wondered "is he going to propose?" After all, they had just celebrated four incredible years. As the photoshoot went on, Jake’s demeanor began to change. He grew quieter, his hands shaky, and a nervous energy filled the air. That’s when Abi knew. With his heart on full display and his voice trembling, Jake got down on one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever “Will you marry me?” Now, they are filled with joy and excitement, ready to bring their families together and celebrate one of the most meaningful days of their lives with the people they love most.
