Jacob and I met at the age of 16 and began our journey as casual friends. I remember the first time we hung out together was to see The Teen Age Mutant Ninja Turtles. We didn't know much about each other besides that we both enjoyed the simple things in life. I really realized this after the movie when we pulled off the road just to pause and look at the stars. At Jacobs high school graduation party, I gave him a very simple gift: a cactus. I was the only one to get him a gift and little did I know he had always wanted a cactus. After this our paths separated I went off to a university in Michigan the fall of 2016 and Jacob continued to work and live here in New Hampshire. While I was off at school, Karyl Fletcher sent me a card or letter every week which greatly encouraged me! Upon coming home for Christmas break I realized that going to a University was not the best plan for me so I continued my education online and worked with my sister on a farm. The Fletchers stayed a part of my life as the farm was right near their house. I often ran into Kaleigh and Karyl. We discovered later that Jacob also stopped by the barn but not during the times I was there. It's so funny now to think about how close our lives have always been without realizing that one day our family's would become one. During the summer of 2017, Jacob sent me a friend request on Snapchat. I always thought fondly of him and was both excited and nervous to accept the request. He didn't know I was interested in him, and I didn't realize he had been asking my brother about me. We talked for some time and then began going on fun little dates. Before we knew it we were falling in love. March 11th of 2018, Jacob and I decided it was time to take the next step. So with $30 rings, we committed our lives to each other under God with just our siblings and parents present. Since then, we have been growing together and looking forward to having our ceremony and celebration with everyone we love!
