Jacob and Shay’s story began in 2020 during their college years. Though they went to different schools in Colorado, fate had other plans. One evening, a mutual friend invited Jacob to Boulder to hang out with Shay’s group of friends. As soon as Jacob and Shay met, something clicked. They sparked a conversation that didn’t stop—and they spent the entire night talking and laughing, as if they’d known each other forever. From that night on, they’ve been inseparable—each other’s best friend, biggest supporter, and perfect match. Since the early days of their relationship, Jacob and Shay have supported each other through every chapter—from college life and Shay’s dance team days to navigating post-grad adventures. In early 2024, they celebrated a big milestone by purchasing their first home together in Erie, Colorado—a place to grow, laugh, and build new memories. Together, they love exploring Colorado’s beauty, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with their friends and family. In November 2024, during a weekend getaway to Aspen, Jacob got down on one knee and asked Shay to marry him. It was a magical weekend marking the beginning of this exciting new chapter. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their wedding surrounded by loved ones in the state they call home.
