Guthrie Theater
While a show might be fun, we are suggesting a visit to the Guthrie for its famed architectural significance as well as stunning views of the Mississippi River. Entry to the building is FREE.
North Shore
If you are staying a few days, consider going to Minnesota's North Shore on the banks of the beautiful Lake Superior! Only 2 hours, 20 minutes from Coon Rapids/Brooklyn Park area of MN to the North Shore, you can enjoy Lake Superior, lighthouses, hiking, or just plain relaxing.
