We’re getting Married!!!

We met through our mutual friends, Carrie and Anthony where they took it upon themselves to get us together. They set up a brief meeting on St. Patrick’s Day weekend 2024, where they happen to leave me and Jacob alone. With a nudge from Carrie, I asked Jacob to attend my upcoming birthday party in April. A month later, with a reminder from Anthony, Jacob showed up to my birthday party, where he ended up staying the whole party. After a couple drinks, he worked up the nerve to ask for my number, which led him to asking me out on our first date. A couple of days later, we went on our first date in Downtown Waxhaw. When the date was over, I kept waiting for him to ask me out on a second date, but the famous words that I got were “Don’t be a stranger”. I left wondering what does this mean? Come to find out in Jacob’s words it meant he couldn’t wait to see me again. After a month of wonderful dates to dinners, the rodeo, and a mountain trip, Jacob asked me to be his girlfriend with a single red rose. With no hesitation I said Yes!
