FAQs

Question

Can I ask questions?

Answer

Please do! We want to make sure you enjoy today just as much as we will. Anything we can help you with just let us know. "No." - Jacob

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please do your very best to RSVP by the end of April. We need to make sure we have enough food and seats (especially since we are doing our best to keep people somewhat socially distanced). By letting us know then, that gives us a month or so to get everything else in place. "No RSVP, no chicken." - Jacob

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We signed a contract with our photographer, who asked that no pictures be taken during the ceremony. This means phones, and cameras are not allowed during this portion of the festivities. In fact, she asks that no cameras be used during the entirety of the wedding, reception included. During the reception, however, feel free to snap some pictures on your phone! Just hashtag them #meohmichal. :) "You click it, you get a ticket!" - Jacob

Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

We want our guests to enjoy themselves AND feel both safe and comfortable. We have already shaved down the guest list, and we will be keeping our friends and family updated on any further adjustments that will be made based on the state of things closer to the wedding. "I don't always where masks, but when I do... it's 'cuz of COVID." - Jacob

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Tennessee is pretty warm in June, but the venue is air conditioned. Dress casually for comfort, but keep it classy. "Monkey suits not required." - Jacob

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 6:00pm, so do your best to get there around 5:45pm to allow the bridal party to do what they do best. "Fashionably late." - Jacob

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

While the bride and groom take some pictures outside, you can make your way to the reception hall. On your way you will find some appetizers and activities to tide you over until the meal begins at 7:30pm. "Food. Chicken. Donuts." - Jacob

Question

What do I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

As I mentioned, the guest list was cut down. That being said, we will be live streaming the event for those who were unable to be invited and for those who are unable to make it. Feel free to join us that way! Just give us a heads up (if you can) so we can inform the necessary venue staff of the change in numbers. "Your loss." - Jacob

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a significant other who was not mentioned on your invite, we would love to have them there if our numbers are looking okay. Just let us know ahead of time! We are being cautious due to COVID, so if we are unable to accommodate them we will let you know. "No, you are forever alone. Deal with it." - Jacob

Question

I have more questions, what is the best way for me to get more information?

Answer

Easy, we have an email account to help us deal with all things wedding. Just send a message with your questions to mrandmrsjmichal@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can. "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUT!." - Jacob
