A Pittsburgh cookie table is a wedding tradition where a large table with different cookies is presented to guests at the wedding reception. Cookies are generally prepared by family members in advance of the reception, and take-home boxes are provided so guests can bring an assortment home. You as guests are NOT REQUIRED to bring cookies, and homemade or store bought are fine. Please drop off any cookies at our house at 2512 Creekedge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA, 15235 between October 9th-10th, and we’ll take care of plating them and bringing them to the zoo. PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF ANY ALLERGENS IN YOUR COOKIES.
Guests are responsible for their own transportation to the zoo.
You’ll be able to use the zoo parking and enter through zoo’s main entrance. Shuttle service will be provided from the main entrance to the aquarium.
Nope, no admission required for our special event.
There will be some animal ambassadors during the cocktails, and we requested no snakes.
Of course! We will follow any health guidelines that are in place at the time of the event, but please do what is best for your own personal health and comfort.
Please let us know as soon as you are able about any dietary restrictions or allergies. A variety of food, drink, and dessert will be available.
We will have the penguin exhibit designated at the “chill out” zone during the main festivities.
