Their relationship did not start to grow until until they had an english and economics class their junior year. After junior year, the two were inseparable. They are going on 10 years of friendship and Jaclyn cannot wait to have her best friend standing next to her on her big day.

Since first dating Robby, Jaclyn became really close with his sister through family events and vacations. The first time that Allie and Jaclyn talked about the possibility of Jaclyn and Robby getting married, Jaclyn knew that Allie had to be standing by her side. Sarah came into Jaclyn's life in a time when she needed someone to help pick her back up. Since the day that they have met , it has been endless laughs and adventures. They may not have known each other for very long, but having Sarah there to help pick Jaclyn up along the way is very important. “There will always be a reason why you meet people. Annika is Robby's cousin on his moms side. Jaclyn meet Annika at the start of her relationship with Robby. Every time that Jaclyn goes to Grand Rapids she always goes and see Annika and her mom Jenny. Whether it is for a family event, cookout, brunch or just to drink endless wine Annika makes sure to make Jaclyn feel like part of the family. She has quickly became like a second sister-in-law to Jaclyn and her day would not be complete without Annika by her side.

Since Jaclyn was little she ALWAYS wanted a little sister. That dream came true when she met Alexandra Herman, because Jaclyn got a little sister named Julia. Jaclyn and Julia's relationship has grown through the 10 years of knowing the Herman family. Started off with a few family dinners and driving Julia around, to giving her boy advice or taking her out for her 21st birthday! Carl is Jaclyn's Godfather and has played a huge role in helping her grow into the person that she is today. He has been there since the day she was born and has watched over her like she was his own daughter. Jaclyn views Carl and his wife (Judy) as second parents. All three of them take any chance to get together. It means the word to Jaclyn to have a man that she admires so much marrying her. This has been a dream of Jaclyn's since she thought about getting married. Most girls plan their dream wedding dress, but Jaclyn planned on who was going to marry her!
