In Loving Memory
A few words from Jaclyn:
This is a photo I treasure most of all. It makes me smile and brings me to tears all at once. My father was a wonderful person, and sadly, he passed away in 1999. I'm so thankful my mother took this photo of us on his 42nd birthday. My sister Jennifer is at the far left, then Julie is over his shoulder, and I have my arm over his. We made bunny ear signs behind him just in time for Mom to snap the photo.
Dad's memory lives on in my heart, and in the hearts of all who knew him. In many ways, he shaped me into the person I am.
I don't talk about him often because of deep sorrow, even with the passing of time. I've been thinking about loved ones (that means you!) a lot while wedding planning, and sharing this loving memory feels like a small but very important gesture. Truly, more than anything, I hold a great amount of love and appreciation for my father and for his time here on Earth.
