This is a great trail built on an old rail line that stretches across many miles of beautiful historic Pennsylvania! Entrance to the trail is very close to the hotel (a few minutes by car) and is great for both short and long runs (or casual walks).
Just a ten-minute drive from the hotel is one of the most famous historic landmarks in the country, where George Washington and his Revolutionary War army made camp over a long winter in 1777-78. There are both original and recreated log cabins, cannons, and captains quarters, with trails and guides to read about the history. Good to do by car if you want to see the whole thing, but walking is also an option in certain areas.
This is where Jaclyn and Matt had their first date! Jaclyn was so nervous she moved to three different tables before Matt walked in a few minutes later. Bluebird has delicious cocktails and is located at the end of Bridge Street, home to many other awesome restaurants, bars, local stores, vintage shops, and the Colonial Theater, home of the Blob run-out scene from the 1958 classic film!
