We actually worked on the same team for about 2 years at Whirlpool. We both had a policy about 'fishing off the company pond'; however once we started talking, things just started clicking. Our first 'date' was more of pity date platonic lunch at The Buck because as she say's its "I felt bad you didn't know anyone here". That being said, I got a 2nd date at the town favorite, Silver Beach Pizza! Again, this was no ordinary date. It seemed like the entire restaurant staff stopped by to say hi & regular customers also were sitting with us for what felt like every 5 mins. Little did I know, Jaclyn worked there! From there we really became inseparable!

We had an entire trip planned to go see our friend Ally who had moved to Ashville the prior year. And all I could think was this is it, its something different & hopefully she wouldn't guess. I had kept the entire ring buying secret! I had worked with Ally to find a waterfall that was in a large tourist park, but this was no ordinary waterfall. It was a half mile hike further up the mountain from the 'tourist trap' waterfall below. As we began our ascent, with Jenny leading the way, I could feel my hands sweating, I checked my backpack every 30 seconds to ensure it wasn't lost. We hiked for what seemed like an hour because we actually got lost! However once we finally made it, it was all worth it and the pictures we got were stunning!
