Eddie and Jackie first met in the summer of 2014 while lifeguarding at Disney's Blizzard Beach Waterpark in Orlando, Florida. While becoming fast friends, it was not until after Jackie moved to Knoxville, Tennessee that the two decided to give a long distance relationship a chance. (shoutout to bridesmaid Jenna, planning the trip that changed our lives!) After nearly nine years of building a life and being slapped in the face with reality...the pair have finally decided to make it official and say "I DO!". While living in East Tennessee the pair bonded over a love of exploring, eating BBQ & drinking moonshine! So many precious memories with family and friends were created in Gatlinburg, TN. In the spring of 2017, the duo decided to really take their relationship to the next level by adding a rescue dog, Ace Ventura, to the family. Having Ace over the past 5 years has been one of the best blessings, the trio have been through thick and thin together. Ace has really taught Jackie & Eddie the virtues of patience and opened their hearts to unconditional love. After Eddie's battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma during a pandemic, the pair decided to move back to Winter Garden, Florida in 2021. Currently in remission, Eddie works as a warehouse worker at Orlando Utility Commission and Jackie works as an Audiologist at an ENT practice in Orlando. Eddie wasted no time after settling into their new home. In September 2021, on their 8 year anniversary, he took Jackie to the beach and proposed with Ace Ventura at sunset. After years of waiting for the right opportunity-the lovebirds are excited to finally announce that they are getting MARRIED!
