Jaclyn and Chris met at the Willow room at Dinosaur BBQ on May 10th 2013. Jaclyn was attending a wedding rehearsal for her friends Dave and Allison. Jaclyn arrived to the party very early and was the first guest. Chris was setting up the bar as the bartender that night. Jaclyn and Chris struck up a conversation as they waited for the party to start. That night Jaclyn couldn’t keep her eyes off of Chris! Her friend, Jen, encouraged her to leave her phone number at the bar. Jaclyn left her number and hoped for the best! Shortly after the party ended, Chris texted her and the rest is history!

Chris, Jaclyn and Mila attended the Dombroski family reunion that afternoon. Joanne babysat Mila while Jaclyn and Chris went out to dinner at the Grotto in North Syracuse. After dinner Chris suggested going to the Butterfly Garden to see his step father’s memorial brick. While at the Butterfly Garden, Chris surprised Jaclyn by proposing! Jaclyn was so happy and surprised that she said “of course!”
