Apple picking is excellent this time of year and I personally recommend Rulfs Orchard for apples, berries, and homemade finds of all kinds

Known as the Grand Canyon of the Adirondacks, Ausable Chasm is a sandstone gorge that offers incredible views, various hiking trails, and waterfalls. There are five miles of hiking trails for you to explore, including the scenic Inner Sanctum and Rim Walk trails. You can go rafting or tubing along the river in the summer months. You can also rock climb, rappel, and go on an obstacle course.
