Port Kent is right across Lake Champlain from Burlington, VT which is a lovely little city! Church Street has great restaurants, cute shops, and of course Vermonts own Ben & Jerry’s!
Ausable Chasm
Known as the Grand Canyon of the Adirondacks, Ausable Chasm is a sandstone gorge that offers incredible views, various hiking trails, and waterfalls. There are five miles of hiking trails for you to explore, including the scenic Inner Sanctum and Rim Walk trails. You can go rafting or tubing along the river in the summer months. You can also rock climb, rappel, and go on an obstacle course.
Valcour Brewing Company
Built in 1838, the Old Stone Barracks was restored in 2015 to house Valcour Brewing Company, home to great craft beer and delicious food in a one of a kind setting just minutes from the Plattsburgh Memorial Chapel
