We're getting married!

We met as co-leaders at Jaclyn's home church's student fall retreat. The following weekend we went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas with some friends, and then went on our first official date at Zilker Park in Austin the next weekend. We started dating about a month later on November 25, 2020!

Carson proposed at the bottom of Steiner Ranch at the docks on Lake Austin. He blindfolded Jac in the car and claimed that they were going to eat dinner at the lake before heading to the Austin Symphony. Once Carson got down on one knee, two of their friends picked them up in a ski boat and took them down river where they were met with a huge party barge that had lots of their family and friends singing "Dancing Queen"!! They joined up with their family and friends and had such a beautiful night of celebration on the lake.
