Jaclyn Mapley

Bride

Bryson Purrenhage

Groom

Leah Liszak

Maid of Honor

Bride's Childhood Best Friend They say some friendships are chosen, and others simply find you. Ours found us back in Young 5's, and from that moment on, I never really stood a chance. Jac has this incredible gift of making everyone around her feel seen, loved, and happier just by being in her presence. Her laughter is contagious, her heart is endless, and anyone who's had the privilege of knowing her knows exactly what I mean. We've grown up side by side through so many chapters of life navigating our teenage years as gracefully as we could, soccer games, camping trips, sleepovers that never seemed long enough, and eventually living together in Kalamazoo. Through every season, every milestone, and every challenge Jac has been my constant. My biggest supporter at the highest of highs and my lowest of lows and one of the greatest blessings in my life. I truly couldn't imagine being anywhere else than by her side on her wedding day. Watching one of my oldest and dearest friends marry the love of her life is such an incredible honor, and I couldn't be happier to celebrate this moment with her.

David Tomaszewski

Best Man

Groom's Cousin I’m David, I’m Bryson's cousin. We had something that not a lot of cousins have, we are the same age and grew up in the same town and are each other's best friend. We did everything together, snowboarding, going up north to the cottage, and hanging out all the time. I’m so honored to be Bryson's best man and be a part of his special day! I am beyond excited for Bryson and Jaclyn and wish them nothing but happiness!

Abigail Purrenhage

Bridesmaid

Groom's Sister

Aaron Purrenhage

Groomsman

Groom's Brother I’m Bryson's brother. Bryson and I grew up together and spent a lot of time as kids playing and supporting each other as we got older. Bryson would tease me sometimes, like all older brothers did, but he was always there for me, and I always knew he loved me. Even though we don’t share a room or a house now, we still bond over cars, Legos and the outdoors. I’m so happy that my big brother wants me to be a groomsman, and I’m elated to see him marrying Jaclyn. They are great compliments to each other and bring our family closer together.

Kate Byler

Bridesmaid

Bride's Godsister Jaclyn and I have been buddies since utero. Not in the same mom, but sometimes it feels like it may have been anyways. From diapers and bottles to straight cut bangs and dip dyed ends to graduation caps and now married life, we have been through it all. It has been a pleasure to navigate life, in joys and losses, to celebrating her marrying Bryson after over a decade together. Bryson, you may never have been around as long as me, but I'd like to see you try!

Grant Mapley

Groomsman

Bride's Brother Jaclyn has been so much more than just my sister she’s been my built-in best friend since the day I was born. No matter what life has thrown our way, she’s always been the one I could count on without hesitation. She has been my biggest supporter, my protector, and someone who has always been there for me. I truly can’t imagine my life without her. From the moment I met Bryson, I knew he was the one for Jaclyn. He’s kind, genuine, and loves her in the way she deserves to be loved. There isn’t anyone else in this world I’d rather see standing beside my sister. I know he’ll be an incredible husband, an amazing father someday, and her partner through every chapter of life. Seeing the two of you together makes me so happy because I know your future is filled with love, laughter, and a lifetime of happiness. Jaclyn, you’ll always be my sister and my best friend, and Bryson, I’m so thankful you’re becoming part of our family. You have truly become my big brother. love you both, and I couldn’t be happier for the life you’re about to begin together.

Lauren Deppert

Bridesmaid

Bride's College Best Friend: Hi everyone! I'm Lauren, though some of you may know me as "Peanut"—Jaclyn's friend from Western. I met Jaclyn during our very first week of college and had the privilege of living right next door to her in the dorms. Our friendship began when I walked into her room one day and asked if she wanted to hang out, and the rest is history. Freshman year was filled with nightly hangouts and trips to the dining hall, which eventually turned into our weekly McDonald's runs. Honestly, that's when I knew we'd be friends for life. I am so grateful that we got to spend all four years of college together, navigating everything those years had to offer—laughing, crying, dancing, and making countless memories along the way. It is truly an honor to stand by her side on such a special day to watch her marry her best friend. Cheers to the soon to be newlyweds!!

Jordan Tomaszewski

Groomsman

Groom's Cousin Hi I’m Jordan, one of Bryson’s cousins! Whether we were out on the water fishing or gathered around a bonfire at the family cabin, Bryson and I have never run short on good times and great memories. It is truly an honor to stand beside him on the biggest day of his life. Seeing him and Jaclyn build something so special together has been a joy to witness, and I cannot wait to celebrate them. Congratulations to you both!

Katie Whaley

Bridesmaid

Bride's College Roommate Hi! My name is Katie (Kitty to her)! I met Jaclyn during our freshman year of college when we lived in neighboring dorm buildings. We met through a mutual friend (her roommate at the time). We instantly clicked, and by sophomore year we decided to become roommates. From there, our friendship grew into something truly special. Between countless trips to Los Amigos, Chick-fil-A runs, Marshall's shopping trips, late-night chats, and her forcing me to watch movies I didn’t ask to watch, we quickly became inseparable. Somewhere along the way, Jaclyn became so much more than a best friend—she became family. We always joked that Jaclyn was mine and Emily’s "triplet," and honestly, it couldn't have been more true. She has been by my side through so many of life's biggest moments, and I can't imagine my life without her. I couldn't be happier to stand beside her as she starts this beautiful new chapter. I love you, Jac! 🤍

Erik Pillars

Groomsman

Groom's Best Friend Hey guys I’m Erik. I’ve been good friends with Bryson for almost 10 years now, known him even longer. We played a few years of lacrosse together back in high school, been friends ever since. I’ve seen him and Jaclyn grow together as people/partners/friends for over a decade, and I’m so excited to finally see this day come to light!

Emily Whaley

Bridesmaid

Bride's College Roommate Hi! My name is Emily, I met Jaclyn freshman year at Western Michigan through a mutual friend, and I had a feeling we'd be close from the very beginning—especially when we realized we were both wearing the exact same shoes! That little coincidence was just the start of a lifelong friendship. Our bond grew even stronger when we became roommate's sophomore year, and from then on, we were inseparable. We made the most incredible college memories together, from adventures in her minivan and trips to Florida to late-night Taco Bell runs, endless Fishbowl game nights, Western game days, and countless unforgettable moments in between. Through every season of life, she has been the most loyal and genuine friend anyone could ask for. Her friendship is truly one of a kind—the kind of friendship that most people are lucky to experience only once in a lifetime. I am beyond grateful that I met her that day at Western because somewhere along the way, she became so much more than a best friend—she became family. Watching her begin this new chapter is such a joy, and I know she is going to be the most incredible wife.

Ben Radloff

Groomsman

Groom's Best Friend I’m Ben, one of Bryson’s best friends. We’ve shared plenty of laughs, questionable decisions, and memories that probably don’t belong on a wedding website. Through it all, Bryson has always been one of the most loyal and genuine people I know. I’m beyond happy to celebrate him and Jac, and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings for them.

Andrew Heitchue

Bridesman

Bride's Best Friend: Hi, I’m Andrew! I met Jaclyn back in the 6th grade and we’ve been close friends ever since, even heading off to college together. When Jaclyn and her roommates moved into their off-campus house in Kalamazoo, I officially became the designated "house handyman"—and somehow scored a spot in the house group chat without even living there! Jaclyn has always been there for me through thick and thin, and I was incredibly honored when she asked me to stand by her side. I can’t wait to celebrate the future Mr. and Mrs.!

Max Parker

Groomsman

Groom's Best Friend Hi everyone, I’m Max, one of Bryson’s oldest friends. We grew up playing lacrosse, working on cars, and playing video games together. It’s been amazing to watch him grow over the years, and I couldn’t be happier to see him, and Jaclyn begin this next chapter of their lives together. I can’t wait to see the happiness and adventures that lie ahead for them.

Harper Nagaj

Flower Girl

Bride's Cousin Hi! I’m Harper, one of Jaclyn’s cousins. Although Jaclyn and I are 11 years apart we have grown closer and closer over the years. Ever since I was a little, I have looked up to Jaclyn like she was an older sister. She never fails to make me laugh and put a smile on my face. Whether she’s yelling “HARPER!” in badminton or telling one of her many crazy stories, there is never a dull moment when you’re with her. I’ll always be grateful to have her by my side, and I am so excited to celebrate this day with her! Can’t wait for this new chapter for them!

Zeke Byler

Ring Bearer

Bride's Godson I've only been around for a little over a year but everywhere I go everyone seems to make a big fuss about me. Our family is close to Jaclyn and Bryson and so I've gotten to spend some time around them and I'm SUPER excited to do whatever it is I'm doing in their wedding. There's food if I do that, right? I'm all about food. Food and any type of ball or truck that I can play with. It sounds like there will be a lot of people showing up to see me as the ringbearer. I always appreciate an audience and will deliver my best performance on that big day in November. I know there are other things going on that day other than my walk with the rings, but most likely that'll be the main event. I wish Jaclyn and Bryson good luck on their big day, as I anxiously await dinner after the ceremony.

Heidi Mapley

Mother of the Bride

I have been blessed for over 26 years with the happiest, smiliest little girl from the very day she was born. One of my favorite memories is waking her up on her first birthday, singing "Happy Birthday" as she lay in her crib. She opened her eyes, flashed the biggest smile from ear to ear, and my heart melted. That wasn't a special occasion smile - that was just Jaclyn. She has always been my daily cup of sunshine. We now have matching sun tattoos. As a child, Jaclyn was wise beyond her years. She had the biggest heart and somehow became everyone's unofficial therapist long before she had a driver's license. Then along came sweet teenage Bryson. Watching you two grow from high school sweethearts into the incredible couple you are today has been one of life's greatest joys. Bryson is the yin to Jaclyn's yang, balancing each other perfectly and bringing out the best in one another. I know without a doubt that you love my daughter deeply and always have her best interests at heart. My wish for both of you is a lifetime filled with laughter - especially on the days when the Moose man makes a huge mess that he claims he did not do - along with endless patience, unwavering friendship, and a love that continues to grow stronger. I am the luckiest woman in the world to have Jaclyn as my daughter and now, one of my very best friends. And I feel doubly blessed to gain Bryson as a son. You both make me incredibly proud, and I know you are going to do amazing things together.

Tracy Tomaszewski

Mother of the Groom

Watching Bryson grow into the man he is today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. From the time he was little, Bryson has always had a gentle heart. He isn't someone who seeks the spotlight, but rather someone who quietly shows up for the people he loves with kindness, loyalty, and a steady presence. Throughout his life, those qualities have never changed. In Jac, he has found someone who truly sees him and loves him for exactly who he is. I'll never forget the first time Jac came to our house for dinner all those years ago. It didn't take long to realize she was genuine, authentic, and someone I was going to love. She brings out the very best in Bryson, and together they've already navigated life's challenges by supporting and loving each other in the ways each needs most. As a mom, there is nothing more comforting than knowing your child has found a true partner. Jac is already a cherished and deeply loved part of our family, and it feels like she's always belonged. I'm excited to watch these two continue building a beautiful, full, fun, and adventurous life together. I love you both with all my heart.

Rob Mapley

Father of the Bride

Jaclyn has been a joy from the day she was born. She has always greeted life with a smile. In fact, if she ever woke up without one, we knew something had to be wrong. Her optimism, energy, and enthusiasm have been constants throughout her life, and they've had a way of lifting everyone around her. She is one of the strongest, most determined people I know. When Jaclyn sets her mind to something, she doesn't simply pursue it - she conquers it. She has never been afraid of hard work, challenges, or taking the lead. Jaclyn is confident, driven, and wonderfully assertive. Bryson seemed much quieter and more reserved. My first thought was, "This poor guy is going to get eaten alive." I couldn't have been more wrong. Over the past several years, I've come to realize that Bryson possesses a quiet strength that perfectly complements Jaclyn. He is the calm in her storm, the steady hand on the rudder when life gets busy, and the balance that every great partnership needs. He is kind, intelligent, hardworking, and deeply devoted to my daughter. More importantly, he loves her, believes in her, and supports her in everything she does. As a father, I honestly couldn't ask for more in a future son-in-law. Watching the two of you build a life together has been one of the greatest joys for our family, and I cannot wait to see what your future holds. Together, you make each other better. And that's what every great marriage should be.

Patrick Purrenhage

Father of the Groom

Early on, he was known to me as my "Baby Boy Bryson". Later, among a trio of friends he earned the earned the nickname "handsome". He has grown up into a caring, helpful, and enterprising young man. I don't think you could find a truer friend in any crew. Back in High School, he caught the eye of a spunky, bubbly soccer player named Jaclyn. We found early on that she was a genuine, fun, and yes, energetic complement to our family. She is especially a great match to balance Bryson's shy, quiet side. Jaclyn is a true cheerleader for Bryson, our family, and life in general and we couldn't be happier to have her in our lives.
