Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy cocktail attire, please. Suits, cocktail dresses, stylish jumpsuits and maxi dresses, and button-down shirts with slacks are all welcome. That being said, we want you to be comfortable. So, if those shoes are too high or that jacket too warm, feel free to loosen things up. Also, we recommend not choosing stilettos, as they are sure to stick into the grass during our ceremony and reception.

Question

Congratulations! I heard you are already married! Will this be just a reception?

Answer

We are! After a full year of Covid postponements, we became legally married in a private ceremony in Hawaii earlier this month. But... we want to get married all over again with our friends and family by our sides! If you are joining us on Saturday, you will be present while we exchange our vows here in Winnipeg. If you are joining us on Sunday, we are looking forward to showing you a full, professional video of our Saturday ceremony. Regardless of which event you are invited to, you are coming not just to a reception, but to a real wedding, only a little less traditional.

Question

Why are there events listed on this website that don't match the date on my invitation?

Answer

As a result of local restrictions on private gatherings, we have been required to split our wedding celebration into two separate events - one on Saturday, September 4th and one on Sunday, September 5th. Your invitation will let you know which day we would like to celebrate with you! Although you may see other events listed on this website, please ignore those that do not match the date indicated on your invitation.

Question

How should I get to and from the wedding?

Answer

We encourage you to leave your car at home and take advantage of our open bar! Winnipeg's major taxi companies (including Duffy's and Unicity) as well as local rideshare companies (such as Uber) will happily transport you to and from the venue. If you would prefer to drive, parking is available along Matlock Cres. Cars are welcome to stay on the street overnight to ensure everyone makes it home safely. If you require driveway parking, please be sure to reach out by email.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids - we really do! - but we want our wedding to be your night off. Please find alternate arrangements for your children so that you can celebrate with us at this adults-only affair. Moreover, as numbers are strictly limited due to government regulations, we kindly ask that you do not invite any additional guests.
