Maid of Honor
Jess and Eleni became friends in high school where they quickly bonded in physics class, sharing a love/hate for the subject (depending which one of them you asked). Through the years, they shared a sense of humor, love of coffee, travel, and the TV show Friends. Even though Eleni lives in DC now, they are still close and in touch, and Eleni was excited to hear about Jacky, knowing from how Jess first described him, he was “her lobster” or the one.
Erika

Jessie and Erika met during their freshman year at NYU. Jessie sat next to Erika in two different classes, and in no time, they quickly bonded during class and outside of class over Jessie's famous home-cooked Chinese noodle and Erika's kimchi fried rice. They remained close friends ever since. In fact, Jessie was Erika's Maid of Honor for her wedding back in 2018! Erika remembers how happy Jessie looked when she first started dating Jacky, and Erika had a gut feeling that he would be "the one"- and she was right!

I met Jess back in middle school, both of us navigating a new school year without friends from previous classes. We gradually wore each other down during those turbulent adolescent years and quickly became best buds. I kept all the precious handwritten letters we wrote to each other on the stationary from Morning Glory—those were simpler times! Even though lately we don't see each other much, on those rare special occasions we do, it feels like no time has passed. Having met Jacky, I can’t imagine a better couple to weather the highs and lows of their future lives together. Can’t wait to witness the next chapter of their lives!
Alice

Alice and Jessica are sisters who have very different personalities, but despite their differences, they grew up with many unforgettable moments together. They played dress up as a kid after watching Chinese dramas and would get in trouble for making a mess in their mother's closet. They never get sick of rewatching the same Disney movies over and over again or Home Alone during Christmas gatherings. As an adult, they found time for sister adventures to Beijing, Cuba, and Myanmar! When Jacky came into Jessica's life, Alice immediately saw their bond and love for each other. It was obvious they found their other half. Jacky tried to "win the sister over" and he did!
David

Jacky and David became acquainted in Middle School during an intense game of tag, where Jacky jumped off a slide and landed on David. David still has trouble recalling memories from that year. Their friendship blossomed from there and, to this day, they continue to bond over physical pursuits such as running, cycling, and going to the gym.
Ivan

Basketball, anime and questionable jokes. These are the interests that brought Jacky and Ivan together at the innocent age of 15. Over the many years, this bromance grew stronger until the introduction of an unexpected variable named Jessica. As the Jessica stock continued to rise, the bro bond remained strong, and thus Ivan was rewarded with the honor of being Jacky's best man.
Tony

Tony and Jacky's friendship began 18 years ago, where Jacky would make fun of Tony's Crocs and how they were unattractive to the opposite sex. Little did Jacky know that Tony was ahead of his time and that Crocs would eventually be the new norm; even trendy. Tony plans to honor Jacky by wearing a fresh pair of crocs on the wedding day.

Like the roaches and rats in NYC, Vincent and Jacky have a friendship that even Jesus can’t get rid of. They’ve been friends since the early ‘02 and Vincent continues to piss Jacky off. From waking Jacky up in the middle of the night during college, to the countless mean jokes. But somehow Jacky always finds a way to forgive Vincent like a father would always forgive his son.
