Is there a dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party: We want to see you in your best western chic attire! Boots and hats are encouraged for everyone. Custom cowboy hats will be available to purchase from the Highland Hatter Co.! • For Men: Khakis or jeans with a button down. • For Women: A nice dress or skirt. Ceremony and Reception: Black Tie • For Men: Tuxedos with a black tie or bowtie. • For Women: Floor-length gowns. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed to impress!

What is the shuttle schedule for the Ceremony & Reception?

Answer

There are two shuttle pickup locations: Trailborn Hotel and BEHIND Old Edwards Inn (by the spa, 16 Church Street Highlands, NC 28741). Both shuttles will be departing for the ceremony at 4:30pm. At the end of the evening, both shuttles will return back to their original pickup spots, then continue on to The Ugly Dog for the after party. The shuttles will not be running after dropping off at The Ugly Dog.

Will any events be outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors in the grass surrounded by beautiful fall colors! Ladies please keep this in mind when picking out what shoes you’re wearing. The rest of the evening will be indoors and under a covered patio.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the evening with us. Thank you for understanding!

We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will be indicated. Thank you for understanding!
