Man of Honor
Billy has been my best friend since 8th grade. We clicked through music in choir class and have been inseparable since. He has encouraged me and push me to heights I didn't think I could reach. We've experienced so much life together and I'm not sure I would be who I am today without someone like Billy in my life. His light shine's so bright and I am honored to have him stand next to me on the biggest day of my life.
Bridesmaid
Porsha is my big sister, my role model, and best friend. She has been on of the greatest inspirations in my life. If I need her she always there whether it's to make me laugh, cry, dance or scream. I wouldn't walk down the aisle without her.
Bridesmaid
I've known Meg since the 2nd grade! We have literally grown up together. College really brought us closer but she has always been there no matter what. She has the biggest heart and some of the wisest counsel. Meg keeps me in check always telling me what I need to hear, not what I want to hear. I am so grateful to call her a best friend and have her next to me on this big day.
Bridesmaid
Jadah and I met our freshman year of college. It wasn't until we moved in together where we became best friends. She is full of passion, fun, and always know's just what to say when I need her. Even though we live in different states, Jadah always feels close even though she's far. I know I can always count on her for anything. I am truly blessed to call her a life long friend and couldn't imagine this day without her.
Best Man
Blake is that friend that everyone deserves to have in their corner. From showing unrelenting support, to giving you a reality check at the times you need it most. Almost positive my first encounter with Blake is similar to many others. Laughing at his smart remarks after hearing someone make a ridiculous comment. Ever since that day our junior year in high School, I knew that this would be someone I could become friends with. Little did I know, he would soon grow to become someone much more. Blake and I ended up growing closer our senior year, along with our other two friends, Mia and Jade. After graduating high school, Blake and I continued our friendship in college as roommates our freshmen year. Throughout the four years we spent away from our family in college, it made me realize that family was there all along, which helped me navigate life as a man learning responsibilities. Blake has grown to become another brother that I am blessed to have!
Groomsman
Everyone knows Mo as my cousin, but to me, this is my brother I never had growing up. Mo and I shared common interests, with basketball being most favored. We practically did everything together, imagine going to middle school with your favorite cousin, unbeknownst to us, our journey was just getting started. After being rivals for four years in high school, him attending Brewer and I Arlington Heights, we both were faced with a big challenge of deciding what was next. Then came the years of being roommates at Texas Tech, don't worry I won't share the stories. To sum it up, this is my brother, no matter what is thrown our way, we'll be locked in for life!
Groomsman
Reggie and I met at Texas Tech back in 2014, but our friendship didn't spark until years later in 2019. Reggie has been there through some tough times in my life and to this day always there to support me, no matter how crazy the idea is. No matter what he says, he will never convince me to visit Houston!
Groomsman
Cameron, aka Cam is one of my close friends since middle school. Also known for being the life of the party... if there's music involved, he probably somewhere dancing. Cam isn't your typical person you call a friend, his genuineness is what makes me see him as a brother!
Groomsman
Javon and I met his freshmen year at Texas Tech, between the years of 2016-2017; by way of the student org fair, which at the time I was representing the BSA (Black Student Association). Through the years I've always seen Javon as a mentee, but God intended for our friendship to be something much more. Javon and I have seen each other grow as men being in college, from navigating our identity to becoming great leaders to our colleagues and the community. Most importantly, within the recent year God has allowed us to grow spiritually together, and reshape our friendship to what it is today. Javon is my brother and I am honored to have him share this moment with me.
