It all started at the infamous T-Mobile. We didn’t talk much to start. But we began bonding as us and our colleagues, were playing a virtual pool game together during slow hours. One night a colleague was having some friends over for a game night & he offered to drive. At the end of the night, we decided to continue hanging out so we went back to his house but had to sneak in the back gate (sorry parents!). Following that night, we became best friends.
We had just got home from spending Easter with family. It was still early and the weather was beautiful so we decided to go to the park and throw around a football. We walked through the park for awhile and talked about going to the movies. We bought tickets online and headed back to the apartment to change. I went into the bedroom to change and as I came out, he was already crying. I panicked thinking something was wrong and also started to cry before I even knew what was happening. He looked me in the eye and said there are tons of ways he could do this but couldn’t wait any longer. He was pulling out the box as he was getting down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Needless to say, we didn’t end up making it to the movie.
