We’re getting married!

It all started at a fourth of July party hosted by a mutual friend (the maid of honor). David, living in North Carolina, was home for the weekend. We were both hesitant to attend, nonetheless, we did. Looking back now, extremely glad we did. It took an hour or so for us to warm up but eventually, with a few drinks in our system, conversation struck. Of all things our conversation sparked over Koda, our (his) crazy but sweet German Shepard. We immediately hit it off from that point on. Talking all night turned into spending all weekend together. When the weekend came to an end we decided to give dating a shot in spite of the distance that would be between us over the next year.

After months of working opposite schedules we FINALLY had the day off together! A few days back we planned the whole day out, Ohio Pyle for hiking and then to Mission BBQ for dinner. March 3rd 2021, we woke up early and headed out. As soon as we arrived we found a trail and started our adventure. After hiking 8 miles, taking lots of pictures, and stopping for some snacks, we head to Cucumber Falls. With NO idea where we were going, we searched for what seemed like hours before we eventually made it to the falls. The moment couldn't have been more perfect. David setting up his camera and getting the ring while I was turned around taking photos of the waterfall. With no idea what was about to happen, I turned around at the exact same moment that he was getting on one knee.
