We Are Getting Married!

Once upon a time in room 205 of the Dunleavy building of the beautiful Niagara University campus, an even more beautiful young lady walked in and sat next to a cute boy who caught her eye in the first semester of their freshman year Philosophy class. Little did she know, that cute boy (Daniel) was struck with asthma for the first time of his life for she was without doubt the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He didn’t even know her name but for the rest of the semester, they sat in the same seats while Dan would spend his class time daydreaming of Lindsey, her hair still wet from swim practice, but would admire her from afar. He earned a D in Philosophy but Failed to work up the courage to ask her on a date. Fast forward to November 2017 Though years passed the daydreams never stopped between Dan and Lindsey. Through the powers of social media, Dan finally reached out to Lindsey and struck up a conversation. Drunk with love, Dan packed up his car and drove 900 miles from New York City to Atlanta GA so he could spend 24 hours with her and take the lovely Lindsey on a date. She visited New York City the next weekend and after many flights back and forth, Daniel transferred with his job and moved to Georgia to be with the girl of his dreams.

Daniel and Lindsey made a Pilgrimage back to the lovely Niagara Campus while in Buffalo for a friend’s Wedding for a friends wedding to reminisce and see the ever-changing grounds. After a few minutes of walking around on that beautiful sunny day Dan took Lindsey back to the room where they first met in Dunleavy room 205 where they sat in their old seats and thought of how far they’ve come from that first day of Philosophy class. It was there that he got down on one knee and asked her to share the rest of their days with a lifetime of love.
