Forest Park

Forest Park in St. Louis is home to 5 major institutions, all of which are free to attend and enjoy! The St. Louis Art Museum, History Museum, Zoo, Science Center, and Muny (outdoor amphitheater) are housed within Forest Park, sitting on 1,300 acres of nature and beauty.

Housed in an old shoe factory in Downtown St. Louis, City Museum is an ever-evolving, always-thrilling, artist-built playground full of weirdly wonderful spaces to explore. This concrete wonderland is fun for kids and adults, housing 4 bars and plenty of nook, crannies, and caves to get lost in. Trust me, it’s one of a kind. Pro Tip: consider wearing tennis shoes, long pants, and maybe knee pads if you have them! Or they’re also available for rent at the museum.

The Gateway Arch

Take some time to visit Missouri's National Park, the Arch! The ground are gorgeous, the free museum under the arch has recently been redone and covers Westward Expansion, and you can also purchase tickets to ride the elevator to the top of the Arch for an amazing view! (Note, you may want to buy tickets in advance, they do sell out!)

Busch Stadium & Ballpark Village

Baseball season will be in full swing during our wedding weekend! Take a tour of the iconic Busch Stadium, explore nextdoor Ballpark Village for food and drinks, or snag tickets to catch the Cardinals at home. There's even a game on Sunday after the wedding!

The St. Louis Zoo is a local gem, and is an amazing experience for animal lovers! Consistently ranked one of the best zoos in the nation, and best of all, it's free! The exhibits are well designed, the scenery is gorgeous, the features and amenities are great, the variety of animals is pretty crazy, and our zoo is one of the top in the country in regards to conservation.

City Foundry is a giant food hall located in Midtown St. Louis, featuring tons of local and international restaurants for you to taste and enjoy! The Foundry also is home to Putt Shack minigolf, some boutique shopping, a movie theater, bars, and restaurants - so it's a one-stop-shop for food and fun.

If you need a little peace and greenery, this is the spot. Wander through beautiful gardens, check out the Climatron (a giant tropical dome!), and soak in all the blooms. April is peak tulip season, so it’ll be extra stunning!

Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic brewery, meet the famous Clydesdales, and see how Budweiser is made. Afterward, relax in the Biergarten with a cold pint and some snacks - it’s a true St. Louis experience!
