two become one

Colleen was invited by Danielle and Sheana to go to Seattle for a girl’s trip in May of 2022. Once the girls arrived in Seattle, they set off to find fish and chips at Pike Place Market. As they shuffled through the sea of people and passed Sosio’s Fruit & Produce market, there was Brandon handing out Sosio’s “OMG” peaches. Brandon saw Colleen, she looked mysterious in her ankle length trench coat and sunglasses, so he guided people around to ensure she got a peach sample. She gladly took one but then kept walking, she looked back only once to check out Brandon (she thought he was fine but had to be sure!) and their eyes locked one last time. Colleen and her friends then went about their day, but because each of them tried the peaches they were set on going back to get more. Just before 5 pm they returned only to find that the lights were out at Sosio’s since they were closing and cleaning up shop. Colleen and her friends decided to walk to a different fruit stand but once they arrived, they thought that this fruit would not compare to what they had tasted earlier (this is not an advertisement for Sosio’s but it might as well be!). The girls decided to return to Sosio’s and offer cash to see if they could make a last-minute purchase since they were already closing. As soon as they returned, there was Brandon. He saw Colleen and said, “Hey, I remember you!” Danielle and Sheana gushed “ooooh!” After a little small (sweet) talk Brandon wrote his phone number on the bag of peaches. Colleen and Brandon went on a date that same weekend on Mother’s Day and made an everlasting connection.
