FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

All guests (whether staying on-site or in hotel) will RSVP through the google form linked in our RSVP & Travel tab. You can also scan the QR code on the RSVP insert, which will be included with your invitation. This link will also guide you through housing options and pricing. If you are deciding to camp with us, just fill out your cabin preferences and we will take it from there!

Question

Can our kids tag along?

Answer

Although we adore all of your children, our (13!) nieces and nephews will be the only young ones joining us for the weekend, as they have important roles to play in our ceremony. Unfortunately, our venue is unable to host any more children due to limited beds, high chairs and cabins, therefore we can only accommodate guests addressed on your invitation. Our hope is that you will use our wedding celebration as an excuse to find a sitter to enjoy a kid-free weekend! :)

Question

what is there to do at ogontz?

Answer

There are acres of trails to explore, canoes and kayaks available to cruise around the lake, a wood-fired hot tub next to a waterfall where you can also enjoy a cold plunge! There are tennis courts, volleyball courts, soccer fields, and many quiet sitting areas to unwind and relax. We will have yard games set up on the lawn all weekend, but feel free to bring anything you'd like to enjoy your time here.

Question

can i bring my own booze?

Answer

We are happy to provide drinks to our guests during meals throughout the weekend. For everything in between, you are welcome to bring your own drinks/coolers to keep in your cabin, or the refrigerator provided in the dining room. We just ask that you try not to overdue it before our ceremony so you can be fully present, there will be plenty of time afterward to get wild!

Question

what should i do when i arrive? where should i park?

Answer

Upon arrival, you can check in at the Post Office at the center of the resort. We'll have schedules for the weekend, room assignments, a map of the camp, and treats for you to take to your room. Once you unload your belongings to your cabin, please park your car in the parking pasture (you can find this on your map). The camp is fairly compact, but for easier transportation within the camp, golf cart rentals will be available.

Question

are there rules at ogontz?

Answer

While we essentially have free reign of the campground, there are a few essential rules we need to follow: -open flame/smoking is not permitted inside any of the cabins, aside from the wood burning fireplaces. -while you are in the designated event halls, outside alcohol is not permitted and will only be served by Ogontz Staff.
