ALWAYS say "Bonjour" when entering a store, cafe, tabac etc. "Bonjour" is used until ~5PM after 5PM we say "Bonsoir"
Oui! The French now do coffee to go. If you want a quick coffee go to a Tabac! They're always local, fun and quick!
We love taking the metro and its super easy to use! We recommend purchasing a book of 10 or 20 tickets for your stay! Uber is an easy option if you're in a hurry or don't feel like navigating the metro. Note: ALWAYS keep your metro ticket for the duration of your metro ride. You can throw the 'used' ticket away after EXITING the metro. They do regular checks at the exits- if you throw your ticket away before you exit the metro, you will be fined 80 euros. They are very strict about this. That said, don't mix up any old tickets with fresh ones! Learn from our mistakes. French Onion soup is just Onion soup. We are in France after all! ;)
Our favorite wine in France is Brouilly (pronounced Brew-yee) or Luberon. Give em a try!
