The year is 2013. Ross is in grad school for stage management at UC Irvine, and Megan is a nervous freshman. They meet at auditions, immediately embark on a show together, and the spark is instantaneous. Ross made Megan laugh like no one else could, and Megan gave Ross butterflies. They started dating and fell in love quickly.
The years go by and our relationship just grew stronger. Megan studied in England for a month, Ross traveled to Portland for work twice. Ross graduated UC Irvine with his MFA in Stage Management in June of 2015 and they spent the summer of that year in New York. Megan took a summer intensive and did her first professional theater show in Colorado. She geared up for her last year of school as Ross moved to Tennessee for work - and spent 6 long months apart. They talked everyday and grew to dread the FaceTime sound, but they both knew it was temporary and they'd be together soon.
In March of 2016, Megan turned 21 and three days later finished college. She immediately traveled to Texas to work with Dallas Children's Theater while Ross was finishing a contract at Dallas Theater Center. It was so exciting for both of them to live and work together in the same city after spending so much time over the last three years apart. They returned to California for a month so Megan could walk at her graduation, and then packed their bags for the Big Apple. While they both love New York City, they never saw each other. The nature of the town was such that even though they were working for the same Interactive Tour Bus, they were on opposite schedules. Ross was doing theater festivals, Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, and Megan took a contact in the suburbs. They also both realized how much they love California, and decided to head back to the Golden state. They got an apartment together, and found home.
Los Angeles turned out to be the perfect place for both of us. Ross took one contract in Dallas at the very beginning of 2017, but other than that we both have been able to work in what we love and come home to each other at the end of the day. Ross has been working at the Geffen Playhouse mostly, while Megan has performed in live events, film & tv, theater and more. In January 2018 we got our first puppy (after 3 years of Megan constantly talking about a dog) named Jamaica, but we renamed her Nutmeg because she's a nutty little pup. We love her endlessly. In December of 2018, we decided to take a trip to Big Bear for the first time in both of our lives because we needed a vacation after a really long year of work, and we wanted to watch Nutmeg in the snow. It was here, on a snowy Tuesday morning that Ross proposed! When we got to Fresno for the holiday, Megan's family had a cake and a small party to celebrate and Ross's parents were so excited.
Now we're planning a wedding! It's been such a wonderful process and we can't wait to share this day with you. Thank you all for checking out our website!
