YES! We really are planning to exchange vows at observation point. A professional photographer is going to join us to capture it all. Everyone should plan about 2 hours to hike out to Observation Point if you are going to join us.
Enjoying everything Zion Ponderosa has to offer. There is an awesome pool complete with water slides and hot tub. Some people are bringing their ATV's or mountain bikes. From Observation Point, you can hike downhill into the National Park and then go on other hikes from there or head to the gift shop.
Very Casual... our thought is that if you're willing to hike 7 miles round trip to see us exchange vows, wear what you want! It might be a little bit chilly to first start out hiking, but it will quickly heat up. For the evening - whatever you are comfortable in. Shorts are totally fine. Hawaiian shirt? absolutely. If you want to dress fancy, go ahead. We both will probably start out dressed up but then more than likely change into something more comfortable. We are both just excited to spend time with the people we love, and feel so gracious you would make the effort to come share this special day with us.
There will be food in the evening, buffet style. We will be hosting this at the Gaines' rental home. Unfortunately, I can't provide an exact address because zion ponderosa identifies places by the Lot #. When we are out there, we will provide more guidance and communicate to everyone so that we can all find where to be.
