Taylor and I met in Georgia playing college soccer, playing side by side in the midfield. From then on, we were inseparable, going from teammates to best friends, and truly like sisters (aka my twin). She’s thoughtful, grounded, and endlessly supportive, an incredible mom to three of the sweetest children, and a friend who always has my back. I can’t imagine celebrating this day without my other half.

Brett and I have known each other since high school, and we started working together after that. He’s one of my best buddies, loyal, always looking out for me, and ready to help whenever I need it.

Katie has been my best friend since high school and is someone I can always count on. She constantly shows up for the people she loves, taking the time to celebrate others in the most thoughtful ways. She’s a caring mom with a big heart, endlessly nurturing, and always goes out of her way to make others feel special. Katie and Jackson also grew up beside each other and have always been great friends, which makes having her by my side even more meaningful.

Dylan and I became close back in high school, and he’s been one of my best friends ever since. He’s got such a huge heart, is unbelievably caring, and honestly one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet.

I first met Lauren when she offered to precept me at SickKids, and from the start, I knew she was someone special. She’s kind, genuine, and always makes people feel valued. She’s independent and accomplished, but also the life of the party who brings so much joy to everyone around her. She’s always ready for an adventure, and I can’t wait to share this day with her.

Logan was my very first Canadian nursing friend, and from the moment she reached out, she made me feel so comfortable. She’s radiant, compassionate, and full of warmth that instantly makes people feel seen and cared for. She’s thoughtful, giving, and she brings so much energy wherever she goes. It meant so much to watch her get married, it was the perfect weekend, and I can’t wait to have her by my side on my own special day!

We first met during orientation at SickKids and went on to become Nurse Practitioners together. She’s calm, insightful, and always knows just the right thing to say. A loving mom with an easygoing nature and a great sense of humor, she naturally makes everyone around her feel so at ease. She is the friend who keeps me steady and is always there when I need her. Having her by my side brings a sense of calm and joy I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Mike and I go way back, we’ve been friends through high school, lacrosse, and hockey. His dad was my favorite hockey coach. Mike’s got such a witty sense of humour, he is a great family man, and one of those friends you’re lucky to have.
