What is the dress code?

Please dress in formal attire. This is your moment to dress up and feel fabulous! We encourage you to bring your most elegant and stylish attire. Birthday suits are strictly prohibited.

Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held in one location. The wedding is being hosted at Melrose Knitting Mill at 309 N Dawson St, Raleigh, NC 27603.

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, there will be free parking at the venue. We encourage Raleigh locals to Uber/Lyft.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus-one, you are welcome to bring a guest. Otherwise, the event is adult-only.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

During cocktail hour, enjoy hors d’oeuvres such as risotto croquettes, pimento cheese crostini, and tomato & basil bruschetta. Dinner will be buffet style with a plated Caesar salad. Proteins will be grilled chicken w/ a creamy mushrooms sauce and a braised beef brisket. Supporting cast of the meal will be creamy mac&cheese and sautéed seasonal vegetables. A dessert table will be open after dinner with a variety of sweet treat options. If you’re able to stay for dancing, a surprise late night snack will be provided to help you rally.

Will there be an open bar?

What kind of question is that? Of course there will be an open bar! We will have beer, wine and house liquor. Please drink lots of fluids leading up to the event. There will also be a coffee station set up for those who do not want to consume alcohol.

We love kids, but our event will be adult-only, with the exception of close family. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you!
