FAQs

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We recommend guests park by 4:30 PM so everyone has plenty of time to find their seats before the ceremony begins.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception take place at the same location?

Answer

No. The ceremony will be held at Oconee Presbyterian Church, followed by the reception at the Bauknight House. The reception venue is approximately a 16-minute drive from the church.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors at the church. Cocktail hour will take place outdoors in a shaded area, followed by the reception in a cooled glass tent at the Bauknight House.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP on this website by June 1st.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Guests are kindly requested to observe formal evening attire. Formal dress is requested; tuxedos are not expected. Suits, ties, cocktail dresses, or floor-length dresses are welcome.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking will be available at both locations. A parking lot is available at Oconee Presbyterian Church for the ceremony. For the reception at the Bauknight House, parking options include marked street parking along Main Street, as well as a private lot on Main Street located one block away at Walhalla Presbyterian Church.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will not have a full open bar, but we’ll be offering a selection of beer, wine, and a couple of signature cocktails, along with plenty of non-alcoholic options! Please note that IDs will be checked at the bar, and we kindly ask that guests respect all legal drinking age requirements.
