Mission Beach
Located just across the road from The Bahia is Mission Beach. Mission Beach is famous for its wide, sandy beach that stretches for miles. You can sunbathe, swim, play beach volleyball, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The boardwalk runs along the beach and is a great place to go for a walk or bike ride. The Giant Dipper is a historic wooden roller coaster that has been in operation since 1925. It's located in Belmont Park, an amusement park in Mission Beach. You can also enjoy other rides, games, and attractions at the park.
Pacific Beach
Visiting Pacific Beach is an absolute must-do while you're in San Diego! With its picturesque coastline, stunning sunsets, and endless options for dining and entertainment, there's something for everyone. Whether you're looking to surf the waves, soak up the sun, or simply take a leisurely stroll on the boardwalk, Pacific Beach won't disappoint.
SeaWorld San Diego
SeaWorld San Diego is a marine park that features aquatic shows, animal exhibits, and thrilling rides. It is only a few miles from The Bahia, but not walkable.
San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo is one of the most famous zoos in the world, with over 3,500 animals and 650 species. You can take a guided tour, watch animal shows, or even have breakfast with the animals. Prepare to walk 5+ miles!
Sunset Cliffs
One of our favorite places to go for a walk or sit and watch the ocean together. This is also where we did our engagement photos!
Balboa Park
Balboa Park in San Diego offers a wide range of activities for visitors to enjoy, including exploring the many museums, strolling through the beautiful gardens, attending a performance at the Old Globe Theater, taking a ride on the iconic carousel, or simply enjoying a picnic in one of the many scenic spots.
Old Town
Old Town San Diego is a historic district that features 19th-century architecture, shops, and restaurants. You can take a walking tour or enjoy some of the local cuisine - we love Casa de Reyes Restaurant.
La Jolla Cove
La Jolla Cove is a beautiful beach that is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or kayaking. You can also explore the nearby sea caves and watch the sea lions and seals.
Windansea Beach
Visitors can catch some waves, relax on the sand, explore the tide pools, or take a scenic walk along the beach. The area is also known for its stunning sunsets, making it a great place to end the day.
Gaslamp Quarter
The Gaslamp Quarter is a vibrant entertainment district that features bars, restaurants, and nightlife. You can enjoy live music, dance, or take a guided ghost tour.
