We're getting married!

In the spring of 2015, Micaela and Jackson were sophomores at the University of Minnesota. Jackson was looking for a date to his fraternity formal and mutual friends made the match!

In the summer of 2021, after a year and a half at home (hello, pandemic) Micaela and Jackson booked a trip to Iceland. They spent a day in Reykjavík at the Blue Lagoon and then headed down the southern coast—stopping to see glaciers, waterfalls, and roaming sheep along the way. On their final day, Jackson popped the question on a private, rocky beach.
