Absolutely! We love all our little family members and friends. We will have games and activities for them at the wedding reception as well!
If you have a guest or plus one on your RSVP online, then yes! If not, please let us know before bringing a plus one.
While the situation is constantly changing, all guests are asked to wear masks at St. Mary's for the wedding ceremony per the church's request. Masks may be removed momentarily to receive the Eucharist. All pews will be open on the bottom floor of the church for self-seating. Every other pew will be open upstairs in the balcony for individuals who would like to socially distance. At the reception, guests will be encouraged to wear masks when dancing and mingling, but this will not be enforced. We also have an upstairs section at the venue that we will make a "COVID-safe" zone, where we politely ask that guests wear masks and socially distance to protect those who are most vulnerable. We want everyone to have a fun time, but to be safe too!
All our guests, regardless of faith or denomination, are invited to participate in the Mass. You are welcome to follow along by sitting, standing, kneeling, singing, and praying during the celebration as you feel comfortable. During communion, because Catholics believe in the true presence of the Body and Blood of Jesus in the Eucharist, the Church asks that all non-Catholics and non-practicing Catholics to participate without receiving the Eucharist. When the communion line forms, non-Catholics or non-practicing Catholics can either remain seated or receive a blessing from the Eucharistic Minister by crossing your arms over your chest.
